Community College - Monday GEPT - March 9th, 2009

Dear All,

We had a great time discussing the questions and the answers of writing practice 3. Here is the possible answer of the last part of writing test.

I visited my uncle (here you can say your relatives, aunties..etc) in Kaohsiung last Friday. I went there with my parents. We got there at about 3:19 in the afternoon. My uncle picked us up in the train station. I had a great dinner with my family and relatives on the first day. On Saturday, it rained all day so that I decided to stay home and played cards with my cousins. It was fun actually. On Sunday, the sun was out so that we went to the beach. The weather was nice and warm there. We swam in the ocean and played with a beach ball there. We had a lot of fun. It was also the last day we stayed in Kaohsiung. Both my parents and I had a great time with my relatives there.

Dear All,

Have you started your homework yet?? Guess not. - -" Here are some possible answers of the Ice Breaker I gave you last time. If you don't know how to start it, you can take a look. Don't copy it.^^

1. I think I am a good cook. All of my family like what I cook. Curry is my specialty.
2. Well, no, I don't collect anything as a hobby. I think it will take too much of my space.
3. No, I don't read daily newspaper because I can read it from the Internet.
4. Yes, I always go to bed late. It is usually 1 or 2 in the morning when I go to sleep.
5. I don't have a pet. I don't know how to take care of it.
6. Yes, I do. I like to watch TV, and my favorite show is CSI.
7. Yes, I like to read a lot. There isn't any specific author I like acutally.
8. Of course not. If I could change my body, I would have my butt changed. hahaha..
9. I live in a suite. It is not really big. There is only a room with a shower in my suite.
10. Yes, I go shopping every month. I usually buy jeans.
